When shopping online prices and delivery options can be compared among all the available retailers before the order is placed. AlaCart will also provide carbon footprint data for any produce and recipe. This way recipes can be suggested based on, not only family members’ preferences, but also on its impact on climate. Eventually AlaCart will even be able to automate and personalize weekly meal plans with recipes optimized to minimize the risk of food waste.
