LuFu- Local, Nutritious & Healthy Lupin Bean Products!

LuFu provides sustainable locally grown lupin products for Swedish consumers who are aware of their health and the environment. We help our customers make good, healthy and sustainable choices by providing locally produced alternatives to meat and soy products.

The first product we make is Lupin Tofu. Lupin Tofu contains similar protein and nutritional contents as traditional soy-based tofu, but has lower dietary estrogen levels and a higher fibre content. Paired with its ability to be made from entirely local raw materials, unlike soy that needs to be imported, Lupin Tofu really is a game changer on the plant-based food market in Scandinavia and Europe.

The second product that we make is Lupin Bites. Unfortunately, during the process of making Tofu the entire bean is not used. As we aim to be a zero waste company, this is simply not good enough. That is why we also make Lupin Bites, a delicious product reminiscent of Chicken Nuggets, but with a vastly superior nutritional content and better taste. This ensures that we use 100% of the lupin beans at all times and we can honestly call ourselves a zero waste company.
