We will run mobile hotels that moves to lokations where the demand for accommodations is greater then the availability. A few examples on events with such demand are: Vasaloppet, Power Big Meet, Dansbandsveckan. Feel free to goolge these events yourself to se that there is always a shortage on beds at these events.
The hotels are housed in purpose-built 40 fot shipping containers, making the hotels easy to relocate. Using railroad as our primary mean of transportation we are able to minimize the enviromental effects that usually comes with transportation.
Each shipping container will include 20 sleepingpods and 20 lockers. As well as ventilation, lights and air conditioning. A standard hotell unit will consist of 2 such shipping containers and a seperate restroom unit.
Should the need for accomondations be greater, then it easy for us to expand the hotel with additional shipping containers and restroom units.
An important thing for us is space! In order to keep our customers from feeling cramped, our purposely built containers open on the longside. Thus creating a roomy hallway between the two containers. This hallway oufcourse gets a roof an a floor as well.
The winners in this venture are:
The customers- that can stay the night.
The event - that get more visitors.
The city - that get extra income from the visitors.
The Hotel Fleet - That is making good business.
So is there any losers? How about the lokal hotels? Well since the demand for accommodations is GREATER then the available number of beds in the city/town they won't lose anything. We are not really compeditors but instead hope to be able to help eachother.
We are now building and planing for a "proof of consept year" in 2021. Where we will attend 10 events with two shipping containers and restroom unit. After a sucsessful testrun in 2021 we will finetune our businessmodel, find investors and start building a buissness that will soon go global.

Hi Ola, This sounds like something that could be of great value for a lot of events and people who do not like camping! Thinking about the value proposition, you mention you are slightly cheaper than hotels with more comfort than camping. I am curious to know how you expect to positively differentiate yourself from AirBNB, who also seems to have this. Maybe talking with plenty of potential customers can finetune your idea, but so far, it sounds very promising!
