We are a multidisciplinary team with the ambition to revolutionize the heart of the home by introducing a new and improved sustainable, dynamic modular kitchen solution with moving parts, adapting to how we live today and tomorrow. We seek financing and partner/s to launch and establish EVOLUO in the Scandinavian and European markets.

The Problem: Kitchens are an essential part of our homes. According to industry standards and findings, the average lifespan of a kitchen is around 15 years. However, our needs, habits, and circumstances can change dramatically during that time. Unfortunately, kitchens are unmodifiable, making it difficult to adapt them to our evolving needs. Investing in an outdated kitchen by simply replacing or modifying parts is unpractical, unsustainable, and costly. Additionally, while there is a small second-hand kitchen market, many kitchens in fairly good condition end up in landfills instead of finding new homes.

According to various surveys and studies, the main reasons why people change their kitchens are because they are outdated, impractical, or don't fit their needs. For example:

The 2020 Houzz Kitchen Trends Study found that 58% of homeowners who renovated their kitchens did so because they could no longer stand their old kitchens. A 2019 survey by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) found that the main reason for kitchen renovation was to improve functionality (80%). A 2018 home improvement retailer, Home Depot survey, found that 47% of homeowners who planned to renovate their kitchens in the next two years cited outdated designs that no longer meet their needs.
