VIDEM - rapid and reliable diagnostics of infectious diseases

Videm is developing a point-of-care diagnostics device with super sensitive detection of ongoing infections, in less than an hour. Our platform is generic which means it can detect any virus or bacteria. It is a closed, automated system including sample preparation, analysis and detection. The technology has been developed through state-of-the-art bio and nanotechnology in a multidisciplinary research collaboration between 16 researchers from Chalmers, Uppsala University, KI, RISE, SciLifeLab/Stockholm University. Our vision is to enable rapid and reliable diagnostics for anyone, anywhere at any time.
