Merit

All started with a group of enthusiastic Master’s students from Uppsala University investing time and resources to develop a device for early detection of sepsis, a life threatening condition affecting million people worldwide. Our technology won a bronze medal against international teams at the SensUs competition in 2022. Two of the team members decided to push the project further and create a spinoff. Merit is the product of our drive, passion, and expertise. We aim to create a unique diagnostic device that could save lives of patients with sepsis.
