Aerit - a sustainable drone delivery service
3Aerit is a company that was grown from KTH's Maribot Kungsfiskare drone team with the goal of becoming Sweden's first autonomous drone delivery company serving customers and communities in logistically challenging locations.
With 86% of packages ordered online weighing under 2kg and the average burger and fry meal weighing under 600g, drones can capture a significant portion of the last-mile logistics market.
Our team has been working hard since 2020 to develop an autonomous delivery platform with a range of up to 20km (10km out and back) and a payload of up to 4kg. Our winch system, developed in-house, enables easy and safe loading and unloading of packages from heights of up to 15m.
Our service is based around a mobile application that allows users to route our drones and their packages to predetermined pick-up locations of their choosing.
With several pilot projects lined-up for summer and fall of 2021, we are posed to revolutionize last-mile logistics and increase access to goods and services for members of remote and difficult to reach communities.

I read your presentation and I am intrigued by your idea. I believe your idea is a good solution to the current problems (which you mentioned in your presentation) with current delivery options (car and freight transport), which aren’t environment-friendly. I have a couple of questions concerning your concept, will you have specific delivery service points(where the drones will land and drop-off the shipped goods)? Will the drones(that I presume you will purchase) be able to withstand different climates(Snow, rain etc)? I wish you all the best! /Brian
