Ultra-precise low-cost machine learning-based readout tool for the Coronavirus kit using a smart phone

    Smart Lab System on Mobile phone is a lab system with the ability to measure data with ultra accuracy, high speed, low cost and error-free data transfer to other networks and data analysis. Lack of access to laboratory facilities and reliable and accurate devices will make the disease not diagnosed at low levels in a timely manner, increasing treatment and mortality costs and reducing the likelihood of recovery. In the case of virus disease especially Coronavirus (COVID 19), The later the patients are diagnosed, the greater the risk of wide spreading the disease. Furthermore, there is no adequate coronavirus kit reader for a noticeable number of people all over the world. In the poor and remote countries, there is no sufficient funding to establish a laboratory with sufficient equipment and facilities. Most of the test is costly, time-consuming and requires an accompanying computing device to capture and analyze the data. Hence, there are readers need for rapid, user-friendly, cost-effective, sensitive and ubiquitous detection techniques. Smartphones are an effective means to measure, analyze and share the results. In this work, a novel gadget was designed and printed using a lightweight 3D material, which can be attached to any smartphone and integrated with optical components. It’s noticeable that machine learning technics have been exploited in the image processing section which is caused by high accurate data analyzing. With this device, we can highly improve the number of the lab for diagnosis virus diseases all over the word to precipitate the process of detecting and prevent the propagation of the virus.
