Do you want to join the greatest innovation competition ever?!
The SU ICT Innovation Challenge by Venture Cup is an idea competition where you show-case your new business idea that will help make the world a better place by addressing the UN:s Sustainable Development Goals.
So, are you or any of your team members registered students at Stockholm University? And do you have an ICT business idea that you believe to have great potential and scalability? And haven’t your idea already revenues exceeding 100 000 SEK? Then you should definitely join!
The top three business ideas wins great prices that will help you to kick-start your new businesses by giving you access to some of the best coaches and business consultants out there.
The competition is arranged by Venture Cup in collaboration with Stockholm University, Urban ICT Arena, Studentkåren DISK, HiQ and Ericsson Garage.
How do you compete?
It is very easy to compete, just add your business idea to the competition before December 1st. We recommend using booth text and media (videos and pictures) to make your idea easy to understand and interesting to the judges. Keep in mind that the judges will not assess more than a 60-second long video pitch, 1000 words and 3 images.
All new businesses should strive to make the world a better place, so when entering your idea you will be asked to refer to which of the Sustainability Development Goals your idea is addressing (for more info see; https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/topics/sustainabledevelopmentgoals)
When you have entered your idea, you have until the deadline to make changes.
NOTE: When you upload your idea the three boxes in the beginning (title, description, image) will be visual for all contestants, the information in the following boxes can only be viewed by the jury (who have signed NDAs).
And the winner is...
The jury will evaluate your business idea based on potential, scalability and appliance to the UN:s Sustainable Development Goals. The teams with the top three submitted business ideas will be invited to The Urban ICT Arena Summit at Ericsson Garage on the 15th of December to pitch their ideas in front of the jury and the audience.
After all the teams have done their best to convince the jury about the greatness of their business idea, the jury will discuss and appoint the winner!
