SU Business Model Cup är en årlig tävling som genomförs av SU Innovation i samarbete med SU Inkubator, Stockholm Business School och Venture Cup.
Hållbarhetsområdet har blivit allt mer aktuellt och viktigt både i Sverige och i övriga världen. Vad som är hållbarhet skiljer sig åt mellan olika sektorer. I Sverige har vi en ny lag som innebär att alla företag med mer än 250 anställda eller en viss omsättning årligen måste redovisa sin hållbarhet kopplat till sin affärsmodell. Det innebär att det är av vikt för alla företag, både etablerade och nystartade, att tänka både ekonomiskt hållbart men även socialt och miljömässigt för att nå bästa möjliga utveckling och resursanvändning för alla.
1-5 deltagare per grupp. Tävlingen är öppen för alla studenter och forskare på Stockholms universitet.
Tävlingen öppnades den 17 januari och stänger den 2 april 2019 kl. 24.00.
Bidraget ska omfatta en hållbar affärsmodell. I denna tävling är hållbarhet en central bedömningspunkt i den utvecklade affärsmodellen.
OBS: det du skriver/laddar upp i de tre första rutorna är synligt för alla deltagare (Title, Description och Idea image). Beskriv kort vad ert arbete går ut på. Din Business Model (bild) och Description Business Model (dokument) som du laddar upp kan endast läsas av juryn som har skrivit på sekretessavtal.
Affärsmodellen ska beskrivas utifrån Business Model Canvas av Osterwalder och Pigneur som den är beskriven i Business Model Generation: a handbook for visionaries; game changers; and Challengers (2010). Wiley.
De nio områden som beskriver en Business Model Canvas ska beaktas och beskrivas i detalj. Vid bedömningen av affärsmodellens nio områden fokuseras till 60% de värdeskapande komponenterna och till 40% de komponenter som behandlar effektivitet. Tävlingsbidraget får maximalt omfatta 5.000 ord.
Bedömningspunkter är följande sex områden som omfattar den hållbara affärsmodellen:
Den affärsmodell som lämnas in som tävlingsbidrag kan antingen beskriva en helt ny affärsmodell alternativt beskriva en affärsmodell som renoverar en befintlig. Förstapris i respektive kategori är 10.000 kr och andrapris i respektive kategori är 5.000 kr.

SU Business Model Cup is an annual competition arranged by SU Innovation in corporation with SU Incubator, Stockholm Business School and Venture Cup.
Sustainability has become increasingly relevant and important both in Sweden and in the rest of the world. What sustainability is differs between different sectors. In Sweden we have a new law which means that all companies with more than 250 employees or a certain turnover annually must report their sustainability linked to their business model. This means that sustainability is of importance to all companies, both current and newly established 1-5 participants per group. The competition is open to all students and researches at Stockholm University.
The competition will open on January 17th and will end on April 2nd 2019 at 12:00 pm.
The contribution should include a Sustainable Business Model. In this competition, sustainability is a key point of assessment in the developed Business Model. NOTE: When you create your account to upload your idea the first three boxes is visible to all participants (Title, Description and Idea image). Briefly describe what your work is about. Your Business Model (Image) and Description Business Model (Document) that you upload can only be read by the jury who has signed a privacy agreement.
The Business Model Canvas used in the competition is described in detail in the book Business Model Generation: a handbook for visionaries; Game changers; And Challengers (2010). Wiley. In assessing the nine areas of the Business Model, 60% of the value-creating components are focused and 40% of the components that handle efficiency. The contribution in the contest may not exceed 5000 words.

The Business Model submitted to the competition can either describe a brand new Business Model or describe a Business Model that renovates an existing one. First price in each category is 10 000 SEK and second price in each category is 5 000 SEK.

First prize in both categories will also give 25,000 SEK for prototype development, given that your business concept meets ALMI's requirements for early stage venture capital.
