Venture Cup Startup is a competition designed for business ideas from up and coming startups in Sweden. Ideas that have commercialized revenues exceeding 1 000 000 SEK is therefore not allowed in this competition. Venture Cup Startup targets new startups with verified business ideas, scalability, and great growth potential.
To compete we want you to present your startup by using a pitch deck consisting of maximal 20 slides. How to create a pitch deck, see examples here. Supplement your pitch deck by using a video pitch, audio recording and/ or written text. However, keep in mind that the judges will not assess more than 10 minutes long video and maximum 2 000 words. A good advice is to describe the problem and solution (your business idea) in our community as early as possible while the competition is open. By doing that, you increase the chance of receiving a lot of feedback. It also enables you to make changes to your idea all the way until the final deadline closes = iteration and customer feedback which makes better ideas and better startups.
NOTE: you can choose what parts of your idea that are open to the community (public) and what parts you only wish the jury (who have signed NDAs) can see.
On deadline, all ideas will be handed to The Network who will select which ideas that will have the opportunity to present in front of The Jury which decides the winners.
All the prizes qualify the winners to the National Finale, except the prizes attached to one (1) specific region.
All totally free of charge of course. What are you waiting for? Good Luck!
